Description

These exceptional glass bulbs were saved from a royal laboratory in the city of Greiz and are ready for a new luminairy life. The precious glass elements have here an origin that tells us about Beauty: Greiz lies in the valley of the White Elster River in the Vogtland region of Thuringia. Due to its scenic location in a valley of talkum-mineral and its numerous historical buildings it is nicknamed "Pearl of the Vogtland". Greiz was the Principality of the elder Reuss , which existed as an independent state in the German Empire until 1918 and was ruled by the House of Reuss.

The exceptionally shaped bulb are framed by the precious high-precision glass body from the chemical industry. This makes spectacular light giving a unique industrial style.

The resulting warm light of modern bulbs not only wonderful laminates the premises, but also warms heart and soul. The red braided fabric cable and the extremely creative ceiling junction box made of bakelite round off the extraordinary appearance of this lamp.

Our lights comply with German safety guidelines (DIN & VDE) and are sold with a certificate.
