Description

The gable vase comes from the Old Town Hall in Berlin-Mitte. The top of the tower under the dome was lined with vases.

To extend the Red Town Hall, 1902-1911 Ludwig Hoffmann builts the new town hall southeast of the Red Town Hall in the Jüdenstraße 34-42. The administration building became the name old town hall after the end of the Second World War. Inside it was modern, outside it should be representative.

The vase is made of solid material, the upper part is no longer available. The garland decoration is still partially preserved, as is the meander. In the middle, the vase is torn.

Upper diameter = 60 cm
Lower diameter = 21 cm
